Questions & Answers

Understand the project scope before development begins.

These answers explain common requirements, limitations, responsibilities, and next steps for Excel and static website projects.

Can ExcelPro customize a system for our company?

Yes. The project begins with your current process, forms, policies, calculations, intended users, and reporting needs. The final modules and automation depend on the agreed scope and available source information.

What information is needed before development starts?

Typical requirements include your current files or forms, process steps, sample transactions, calculation rules, required reports, user responsibilities, software version, and examples of the expected output. Do not send sensitive records through the general website form.

Can the accounting system produce financial reports?

It can be configured to support a Trial Balance, Statement of Financial Position, Profit and Loss Statement, schedules, and other agreed reports. Accuracy depends on validated source data, correct account mapping, configured rules, and professional review.

Does the payroll system support Philippine deductions?

It can be configured for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax, loans, cash advances, and company-specific deductions using maintained tables and approved settings. Those tables and rules must be reviewed whenever requirements change.

Can Excel systems generate PDF reports and tax-form working files?

Yes, depending on scope and desktop Excel compatibility. Examples include payslips, vouchers, BIR Form 2307, BIR Form 1601-C working reports, and BIR Form 2316. These must be reviewed before filing or official use.

Do the systems work in all versions of Excel?

Not necessarily. Compatibility depends on the formulas, functions, VBA, operating system, and Microsoft Excel version used. Desktop Excel is required for VBA-based features, and compatibility should be confirmed during project planning.

Are VBA macros required?

Only when the agreed automation requires them—for example, batch PDF creation, exports, printing, or repetitive report processing. Users must use a compatible desktop version of Excel and enable trusted macros according to their security policy.

How are statutory-table and tax-rule updates handled?

The responsible user or professional must review tables and settings whenever government rates, tax rules, or company policies change. Update responsibilities and maintenance support should be included in the agreed scope.

Does ExcelPro file tax returns or certify reports?

The website describes system development and working-file support. It does not claim that ExcelPro automatically files returns, certifies reports, or replaces the responsible accountant, payroll professional, tax adviser, lawyer, or authorized signatory.

Can a static website include a secure contact form?

Yes, when the hosting plan supports a small server-side component. Secure email processing requires server-side validation, anti-spam controls, protected SMTP credentials, and ongoing maintenance; it cannot be done safely by browser-only HTML.

Can a static website include login, payment, or database features?

Those are dynamic web-application capabilities and require separate planning, development, security review, data handling, and maintenance. They are not part of a standard informational static website.

How much does a customized solution cost?

Pricing depends on modules, calculations, reports, automation, user needs, source-file condition, testing, revisions, and support. Send an inquiry describing the project so an appropriate scope can be discussed.

What support is provided after handover?

The agreed handover may include completed files, practical instructions, testing notes, backup guidance, and an agreed revision or support period. Ongoing maintenance should be defined separately when required.
